Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience (uncapped commission structure) plus Company Car
A leading provider of innovative technical equipment and solutions is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across the Midlands region. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established organisation with a strong reputation for quality, precision and customer service.
This remote role offers the chance to take ownership of a key territory, developing new business opportunities while managing and growing existing client relationships.
As Business Development Manager, you will play a vital role in expanding the company’s presence across the Midlands. You will identify new opportunities, develop strategic partnerships and work closely with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
Identify and secure new business opportunities across the Midlands region
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
Understand customer requirements and present tailored technical solutions
Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, and technical teams
Monitor market trends and competitor activity
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and reports
Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance objectives
Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
Proven experience in Business Development or Sales, ideally within technical, engineering, or industrial products
Strong knowledge of the Midlands market
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote role
Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Willingness to travel across the Midlands region
Full UK driving licence
