Are you an experienced Civil Engineer looking to take the next step in your career with a well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy? Our client is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their growing Cambridgeshire team, delivering civil engineering solutions across a variety of sectors including commercial, residential, education, and defence.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from building drainage design through to wider civil infrastructure, while contributing to the technical and commercial success of projects within a collaborative engineering team.
You will provide professional civil engineering services to both internal project teams and external clients, supporting the delivery of practical, cost-effective design solutions. The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects while working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality civil engineering designs and solutions across a range of projects

Support the commercial and technical delivery of civil engineering work

Interpret client requirements and develop practical, economical design solutions

Contribute to the promotion and development of civil engineering services

Ensure project tasks are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard

Maintain strong professional relationships with clients and colleagues
-
Support fee proposals and contribute to project bidding where required
-
Assist with project progress monitoring, fee tracking, and forward planning

Degree in Civil Engineering
-
Strong post-qualification experience within civil engineering design
-
Experience across multiple sectors and project types

Good understanding of building construction, Building Regulations, and relevant legislation

Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership
-
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Security Clearance:
Due to the nature of the projects, candidates will need UK Security Clearance or the ability to obtain clearance.
