Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving growth in the energy sector? We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious Growth Manager to lead and support high-value initiatives across UK and European markets.
As a Growth Manager, you’ll be a key strategic partner working alongside the New Business team to identify new markets, create innovative solutions and deliver projects that directly contribute to business expansion. This is not just an executional role! You will shape strategy, build high-impact relationships and help steer the business into emerging sectors and geographies.
Identify and develop new business opportunities across energy markets, particularly in storage and stability services.
Contribute to the development of bid strategies for major industry projects and frameworks.
Support the delivery of compelling investment cases with measurable value.
Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new markets in the UK and Europe.
Lead on stakeholder engagement initiatives with industry influencers and decision-makers.
Conduct market analysis to monitor trends, inform decisions and shape business direction.
Evaluate potential acquisitions and partnerships with a strategic and commercial lens.
Drive proposal development and collaborate across internal teams to execute effectively.
Deliver high-quality presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
Strategic & Commercial Acumen: You understand the big picture and can convert strategy into action.
Project Management: Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stream projects with efficiency and clarity.
Detail-Oriented: Meticulous with data, proposals and deadlines.
Proactive & Innovative: Brings fresh perspectives, anticipates needs and delivers solutions.
Collaborative: Thrives in a cross-functional environment and values teamwork.
Adaptable: Comfortable operating in dynamic, fast-paced settings.
International Outlook: Experience or familiarity with European energy markets, especially Germany, is a plus.
In-depth understanding of the UK and/or European energy markets, including stability services and energy storage technologies.
Proven track record in business development and securing strategic partnerships.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience in or exposure to private equity environments is advantageous.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage at C-suite level.
Willingness to travel as needed to support business goals.
Self-starter with the drive and autonomy to lead initiatives from concept to execution.
